When the Harley Davidson company started selling to the world in 1904, little did it know that it would become one of the biggest motor-bike companies in the world. The Harley Davidson company was also selling bikes in WW2. It mainly sold the WLA Military Motorcycle to them, but also a few others. The WLA was made specifically for the military. Its letters meant different things. The W was for the side-valve engine that the bike used, the L was for the high compression, and the A was for its customer, the U.S. army. This bike was used to convey messages when the messages had to be in paper, but they also proved useful for the police force and for routine patrols.

M1 Bazooka
The M1 bazooka was one of the most important weapons at the time of WW2. At the time, most standard infantry soldiers had almost no anti-tank weapons on the scale of the M1. The M1 allowed the standard military unit to have enough firepower to take down a tank, or to assault a heavily fortified enemy position. General Dwight D. Eisenhower said that the M1 Bazooka was one of the reasons that the Allies won the war.
The Germans used a lot of armored vehicles. When the war started, all of the vehicles were relatively lightly-armored; grenades and clunky anti-tank methods worked. But, as the Germans researched and developed more and more armor for their vehicles, those grenades and anti-tank method grew to become mostly useless. So, the US's rocket division decided to come up with a solution. The head of the division, Leslie Skinner, had already been working with rockets for decades. Skinner and 2nd Lieutenant Edward Uhl worked on a shoulder-mounted design. Eventually, they came up with a design that beat all of its competitors in one major task, actually hitting a moving tank.
